Welcome...

My dear Visitors:

It's my pleasure to send you a very warm greetings from the Office of the Chairperson of Yemen Handicapped Society (YPHS) in Yemen. It has been several months since I last communicated with you in view of our last website pages I and other executives have been pre-occupied with.

For myself, the months of last year have been spent learning the ropes so to speak, then buckling down to work immediately afterwards since YPHS as a local organization has many concerns which had to be addressed and acted upon fast. I under-estimated the amount of work which had to be done. But with the support of our headquarters staff and some regional staff and the executives, it seems we were successful to some extent, in tackling some of the more pressing issues and in making YPHS actively participate in a number of global and local initiatives such as the work for regional capacity building and the ongoing initiatives for a disability convention.

Who do you think is responsible for disability people... ?
